December was a good month for Audubon home sellers. We saw 19 homes get to the closing table, and the average number of days on the market was 17.
The big winner of the month was 124 Washington Terrace, which was purchased in a distressed state in 2020, completely renovated with high-end finishes, and then sold for $431,000, 18% over the asking price. It goes to show how much demand there is for turnkey properties right now, and how buyers are looking for homes that they can really enjoy spending a lot of time in. I have to applaud the designer of this home, and also the fact that the Realtor splurged on beautiful photos. They did everything right.
My personal favorite for December is 20 Creston Avenue. I just adore the pale green and brown exterior paint job, and all of the beautiful original wood trim inside!
